Types of Buttons

My favorite tag in HTML is the <button> tag. My second favorite was the <marquee> tag, but that is now obsolete at the time of writing.

Default Browser Button

Displays differently in different browsers.

Skeuomorphic Button

A button designed to mimick its real-world counterpart with a "pressed" effect (skeuomorphism is the act of making something that resembles its real-world counterpart).

Modern Floating Button

The button that might be the trend of 2017.
