CS (Honors) 4th-Year Senior · Texas A&M University

Ever since I started programming around middle school, I have always been interested in computer science and technology. In the past, I have taken several interesting courses, such as Software Engineering, Intro to Computer Systems, Design & Analysis of Algorithms, and Problem Solving Programming Strategies. These have made my computer science knowledge well-rounded and have prepared me for my future career. However, until now, I have not really learned about the design process for software applications, and how to design applications in a sensible, human way as to be pleasant to use and accessible.

I am taking the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) class because I would like to learn how to create universally accessible and friendly websites. I will be able to apply these skills in both my personal and professional work, ensuring that the web is more inclusive to everyone.
